The College Transfer Program

The College Transfer Program offers courses in the arts and sciences leading to the Associate in Arts Degree (A.A.) or the Associate in Science Degree (A.S.) These courses parallel those required during the first two years of study at four-year colleges and universities.

The College Transfer courses that are offered may transfer to any college or university that offers equivalent courses. Prior to enrollment at Wilson Community College, students are encouraged to talk with the counselors and admissions officers at both Wilson Community College and the senior college to which the transfer is intended.

The College has a complete two-year schedule of core courses available for day and evening students, which will vary based on each student's major and four-year school. The curriculum offered is described below.

The College has also identified the following program goals:

  1. To provide quality educational experiences to the College Transfer students
  2. To prepare students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities
  3. To educate students in General Education Core Competencies
