The Allied Health/Sciences department offers a variety of programs designed to meet the increasing demand for specialized professionals in the health care industry.  The programs in this department offer a broad range of career options for individuals.  The department offers a variety of programs at the Associate in Applied Science degree, diploma, and certificate levels.  Graduates of these programs should possess skills and knowledge that will enable them to seek employment in institutions such as hospitals, physicians’ offices, nursing homes, home health care, and other health care agencies.

The mission of the Allied Health department is to educate students in the art and science of being a professional member of the health care fields at a level where they can function on graduation as a safe practitioner in their chosen field.
