Jennifer Davis

My experiences at Wilson Community College have been wonderful. I enrolled at Wilson Community College right out of high school to pursue my Associates Degree in Accounting. Four years later I completed my A.A.S. in Accounting, as well as my A.A.S. in Business Administration. What makes this a big deal is that not only was I a student, but also a full-time mother and wife with a full-time job. I could have never accomplished this feat if it wasn’t for the support from my family and words of encouragement from my instructors. Whenever things got difficult and I felt like I couldn’t keep going my instructors were always there to reassure me that I could do it.

The education and skills I received at Wilson Community College empowered me to obtain a job at the College, which I absolutely love. It is such a pleasure to be able to help students and give back to Wilson Community College what it gave me when I was a student. Since becoming employed here I have earned yet another A.A.S. degree in Office Systems Technology, which has provided me with even more skills to perform my job better.

Wilson Community College is a wonderful place and I will never be able to fully express the appreciation I have for all the opportunities it has provided me.
