Your Dimension Activities

We want to know what you are doing, planning, or even just thinking about when it comes to sustainability. Are you teaching the concept of sustainability in your class? Are you purchasing green products? Have you or your students thought about your recycling behaviors since we installed recycling centers across campus? If you answered yes to any of these questions you are thinking sustainably. Sustainability is about sharing and our sustainable efforts should be visible to others and serve as a model of what it means to be sustainable. We want to know what you are doing in sustainability and invite you to submit your sustainable activities.

• Foundation involved with development of sustainability programs for students, community, curriculum, and professional development
• President, Dean, and Coordinator developing sustainable structure for the College.
• Library function includes supplying and archiving informational research and resources for sustainability
• Website includes links to Green Building resources
• Wind study being conducted to assess potential wind energy applications for campus
• Planning for installation of small scale solar/pv demonstration/educational systems
• LEED Student Center serving as a demonstration/educational site for green building and green technologies
