The NC State College of Engineering, in partnership with Wilson Community College, the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf and the Upper Coastal Plain Learning Council, will be offering a week-long, non-residential summer day camp for middle school students (rising 6th, 7th, 8th graders). The camp will be led by area middle school teachers in partnership with the Engineering Place from NC State University.

We are pleased to offer the following stipend opportunity for teachers. The opportunity involves leading a team of approximately 12 middle school students. providing mentoring and collaborating with other team leads and undergraduate assistances.
Applicants should have a science, math or technical education background or be interested in learning how to use engineering to help make academic connection in their classroom. They should be highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals, interested in hands-on activities, and in learning about ways to bring STEM into their classrooms. .
