Student Services is designed to provide students with comprehensive services and programs to enable them to become successful and achieve personal, academic, and career goals. The services include academic support, counseling, testing, planning, referral, retention services, disability services, and financial aid, while incorporating all the components within the established Wilson Community College policies and procedures. Student Services will work to respond and equip students to succeed in the global economy, with technological advances in the ever-changing workforce and to become a productive citizen of our society.

Important Dates for Fall 2008 Semester

Continuing Students

• July 16-17, 21 Early registration for continuing students 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• July 22-29 Early registration continues Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• August 14 Last day to pay tuition for students who early registered
• August 20-21 Registration for continuing students not eligible for early registration 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• August 21 First day of classes and last day to register for classes
• August 21-27 Schedule adjustment

New Students/Readmitted Students

• July 24 New students whose admission files are complete are eligible to early register 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• July 24 Orientation for day students 10:00 a.m. and orientation for evening students 5:00 p.m. Registration immediately following orientation
• July 28-29 Early registration continues Monday-Tuesday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• August 14 Last day to pay tuition for students who early registered
• August 19-21 Regular registration for all new students who did not early register 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• August 19 Orientation for day students 9:00 a.m. and orientation for evening students 5:00 p.m.
• August 21 First day of classes and last day to register for classes
• August 21-27 Schedule adjustment

New Special Credit/Visiting Students

• August 20 Registration 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
