This 14-hour course is designed to give food handlers an understanding of proper sanitation precautions and cover the expected outcomes should these practices not be followed. Students will study infections and illnesses, proper food handling techniques, personal hygiene, personal safety, and information on the OSHA regulations.
REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Food Safety Management Principles and Answer Sheet (7th edition) should be purchased from the College Bookstore. Students should begin reading textbook prior to the class. (1.4 CEU)
