“I chose Wilson Community College due to one factor. Instructor Eric Maas is that factor. I called and talked to him before I even applied. Mr. Eric said, “come visit and sign up, we would love to have you.” That is why I chose WCC. The atmosphere at the College is great. The people are friendly, down to earth, and helpful in every step of the way.”

“I chose Wilson Community College because I wanted to be close to home and pursue my goal. The advisors and instructors are very helpful and welcoming. I take online classes since I work. I highly recommend anyone in Wilson come here because it’s one of the best choices I’ve made yet.”

“Taking classes at Wilson Community College allows me to get ahead over winter breaks and summer so I can graduate from a 4-year school earlier. As a fully online, visiting student, the instructions have been very clear in the steps I need to take in order to register for classes. The advisors have also been extremely nice and quick to respond, better than any previous community college experience I’ve had.”

“I know someone who received her degree in the same program from WCC years ago and she said it was a great program. My favorite things about WCC, so far, are the instructors and the smaller campus.

I chose Wilson Community College because the instructor I spoke with was professional and passionate about the program. The College gave me the confidence to pursue my education, which opened the door to endless, life-changing possibilities. With WCC, I learned the true meaning of “the sky is the limit.

At the time I chose WCC it was the closest electrical trade school to my house in Tarboro. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do with my life at that time, so I leaned into what sounded the most interesting. Wilson Community College proved to be that major stepping stone for my career.
