Advising Philosophy and Mission
The philosophy of advising at Wilson Community College is to empower students to become responsible for their own academic success. Shared advising responsibilities between students and advisors will promote student growth and development. Students will receive consistent information regarding institutional, general education, and major requirements in order to develop a goal based academic plan that will keep them focused toward degree completion.
