The WCC Board of Trustees consists of 12 members from diverse industries, tasked with ensuring the college’s fundamental values and missions are upheld across all operations.

Driven by the college’s mission, values, and strategic plan, the members of the President’s Cabinet strive to support economic growth in Wilson County by focusing on providing academic pathways for students to achieve success and become productive members of the local economy.

Meet the Cabinet members…

Rob Holsten is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wilson Community College. Beginning his career at WCC in 1991, he has served in many roles, from faculty member to department chair, to Dean of Continuing Education, and ultimately becoming the Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2016. Rob’s administrative oversight as Chief Academic Officer, includes curriculum (credit) and continuing education (non-credit) programming. Rob believes that education is more than teaching it’s about helping others develop the tools to transform their lives.

Amy Noel is the Vice President of Student Development for Wilson Community College. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, she is grateful to be part of the transformative impact NC community colleges have on the lives of students and their families. Prior to joining Wilson Community College in 2016, Amy served as Dean of Student Services at Sampson Community College.

Jessica Jones began her career at Wilson Community College in 1999 as the Assistant Controller of the Business Office and currently serves as the college’s Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services.  Jessica currently oversees all aspects of Finance, Auxiliary Services, Custodian and Maintenance, Facilities, Information Technology, Construction, and Vending services for the College.  Jessica’s 25 years of experience in finance is considered one of the contributing factors to the college’s continued successful financial audits.
