September 15: App State Transfer Preview Day This is the same popular Transfer Community College Day event that we hosted this past academic year — we’ve just changed the name! Please consider bringing a group of students to one of our Transfer Preview Days, where students have the opportunity to meet with the academic department of their choice. This event has a track for community college counselors, as well.
October 7: Fall Open House (Registration Coming Soon) — Our Boone Open House is your students’ opportunity to learn more about App State’s Boone campus. Meet faculty and current students, tour campus, and learn more about financial aid, scholarships, the admissions process, and what student life at App State is really like.
October 15: Spring 2024 Suggested Admission Application Date
October 21: Hickory Open House (Registration Coming Soon) Students will have the opportunity to check out the newly-renovated building at the Hickory location, and to meet with counselors and various departments.
November 3: No worries, if your students can’t make the September 15th App State Transfer Preview Day because we are hosting a second preview day to ensure everyone who wants to come can participate!
We are also excited about our new Transfer Track Visits, which will be offered the first Fridays of the month throughout the Fall semester. These are great opportunities for students to visit and for you to bring a group of students to campus for an abbreviated visit that includes a presentation, campus tour, and meetings with admissions counselors, financial aid, and credit evaluators.
