Central Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) Program

Become an essential member of the healthcare team by enrolling in our Central Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) Program. Sterile Processing Technicians play a critical role in patient safety by ensuring that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, stored, and distributed for use throughout healthcare facilities. Their expertise helps prevent infections and supports the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Our hybrid program offers flexibility of online learning through the Moodle learning management system while providing valuable face-to-face classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory training. Students also complete 100 hours of clinical experience, allowing them to apply their skills in a real healthcare environment and gain the confidence employers seek.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be prepared to take the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification examination through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Earning this nationally recognized credential can open the door to rewarding career opportunities in hospitals, surgical centers, outpatient clinics, and other healthcare facilities.

Disclaimer: This course is only to provide a foundational knowledge in preparing the student for the certification and the student will be required to meet the eligibility components of obtaining hands-on work experience.

If there are not any courses or seats available, please complete the Course Interest button and someone from the college will contact you.
