This course is designed to instruct the layperson or professional responder in the basics of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), with a focus on cardiac, breathing, and other life-threatening medical emergencies as well as awareness of the hazards of blood-borne pathogens. Upon successful completion, the student may qualify to receive certification through a certifying agency.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Preregistration is required 7 days prior to class.
- Must have a 2020 AHA Healthcare Provider CPR book at the start of class, available at the WCC Bookstore.
