Remote online proctoring may be required in select courses, through Moodle, for exams and other assessments. Please review the technology requirements, identify verification, and accommodation support information below.
Technology Requirements
Students enrolled in courses using remote proctoring must have the following:
- Access to a webcam
- Microphone
- Reliable internet connection
- Download and installation of a browser extension (Instructions will be provided by your instructor.)
*Students without access to the required technology may reserve a computer in the Library to complete their proctored exam. Library computers are equipped with webcams. Students may check out a headset with microphone or bring their own.
Identity Verification
Students may be required to verify their identity and record their testing environment during testing sessions. By using this service, students consent to audio, video, and screen recording for the duration of the exam.
Accommodations
Students who require accommodations should contact Accessibility Services as early as possible to arrange appropriate support. Any technical issues encountered during testing should be reported to the instructor immediately, along with supporting documentation.
