Grade I & II
This course examines the operations, maintenance, laboratory, rules, record keeping, etc. of Biological Wastewater Operations. Coursework covers activated sludge, effects of untreated wastewater on the environment, troubleshooting, process control. NCDENRDWQ rules, and requirements for the wastewater field.
Grade III & IV
This course follows prescribed training to meet certification requirements of the North Carolina Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission. Courses must be approved by the Commission and may be approved in the following certification areas: Grade I, Grade II, Grade III, Grade IV.
